'Get Ready for Winter'

Saturday 26th October 2019 at 11.00 a.m.

Julie and Mervyn from Palmers Garden Centre, Yeovil will be hosting the workshop 'Get Ready for Winter'. There will be ideas for winter shurbs for the garden and suggestions for container planting for Autumn and Winter.

Julie and Andrew decided to donate the back drop they used for their award winning show garden from Taunton Flower Show this summer to East Coker Primary School - hopefully this will inspire future generations to reach for the stars!

Get Set, Garden!

At the end of July Sandhurst Garden Design teamed up with Palmers Garden Centre of Yeovil to host 'Get Set, Garden!' - We showed what could be achieved in two separate sessions in under an hour to create a garden.  The first session was a contemporary garden designed around a patio and after lunch a cottage style garden using turf.   I demonstrated planting ideas and accessories for both gardens.  The event was very well attended and hopefully provided ideas and inspiration to all.

The Jubilee Cafe in Minehead

In July we planted up the gardens for The Jubilee Cafe in Minehead. This was part of the Enterprising Minehead Project backed by Somerset West and Taunton Council, which aims to make the most of Minehead's traditional appeal as a seaside resort whilst making it fit for the 21st century.

The Jubilee Cafe owner is working closely with the Minehead Coastal Community Team, took over the ownership of the cafe last year, asked Sandhurst Garden Design to design and replant the gardens which surround the beach front cafe. See my portfoilo for photographs.
